Ever since the founding of Grupo Famsa in 1970, we have been consolidating ourselves as a leading public company in the consumer finance retail sector.

Following a disciplined growth plan, we have based our strategy on the development of a unique portfolio of complementary businesses focusing on consumer credit and savings. Our three business units provide a comprehensive value offer aimed at enhancing the quality of life of a large segment of the population that demands personalized services and credit options that are not available to them from the traditional banking system.

A committed work team of more than 18,000 employees and a broad network of 421 stores in 78 cities in Mexico and 37 cities with large Hispanic populations in the United States, are dedicated to exceed the expectations of more than 9 million Grupo Famsa customers.

Our commercial bank, Banco Ahorro Famsa, S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple, started operations in January 2007. This endeavor involves an ambitious plan to establish Grupo Famsa’s financial arm and complement our value offer with banking services. Significant progress achieved in the implementation of Banco Ahorro Famsa has begun to generate valuable synergies that boost Grupo Famsa’s operating and financial results.
